How Should I Deal With a Snoring Problem?
Question by Bella: How should I deal with a snoring problem?
This summer I’m going to this summer camp where I’ll live for 3 weeks.
Everyone will share one room with a roomate.
Last year (I went to the same camp) my roomate was really nice, but she did mention that I snore and it kind of kept her awake the first night at camp.
This year, how should I handle my snoring problem? Should I just tell my new roomate right off the bat that I snore? And what do I do if it keeps her awake at night?

that’s not even a big deal. he or she probably snores too. but there are these strips that you can buy and place on your nose before you goes to bed if not, don’t worry about it.

First of all rule out any medical problem like a deviated nasal septum, any other obstruction in the nose like growth of nasal polyps or an obstruction in the throat while sleeping.
Here are a few tips which can help you to get rid of this habit permanently.
1. LOOSE WEIGHT.20% of over weight men and 30% of over weight women snore more.
2. If you are not active in life, you will snore more.
3. DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL before dinner. If you do,then to avoid snoring, drink a lot of water before you sleep.
4. QUIT SMOKING.If you can’t,then give a break of at least 4 hours before you sleep.
5. SLEEP ON YOUR SIDE and not straight. If you are a moderate snorer,it will stop if you sleep on your side.
6. AVOID PILLOWS.Avoid elevation of your head and neck and you will snore less or stop snoring.
